Title: Sales and Marketing Intern

Description:
The Sales and Marketing Intern will be part of the Harrisburg, PA corporate sales office of Milestone. The Intern will answer phones and support the administration of the corporate sales office. The Intern will compile, assess, and organize data related to each specific hotel’s prospective and tentative client list.
Position responsibilities:
• Represent the hotel with prospective customers to provide necessary information on hotel facilities and services and to determine levels of interest
• Support the sales office in leading on-site inspections by customer
• Perform outside sales calls to develop leads
• Perform detailed and accurate work at an efficient pace
• Write and answer Request for Proposals (RFPs) for various prospective clients and meeting planners
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
Qualifications:
• Hospitality majors preferred
• Be a fast learner and processor, willing to embrace a challenging, yet rewarding work environment
• High level of professionalism
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be flexible and have a high energy level
• Have strong academic achievements and extracurricular activities
