HOLIDAY INN HARRISBURG/HERSHEY ACHIEVES QUALITY EXCELLENCE AWARD -- 9TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

The Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey, owned by Milestone Hospitality International, whose operations offices are located in New York, NY and Boca Raton, FL, has won the Six Continents Hotels 2002 Quality Excellence Award, given only to hotels achieving distinction in all aspects of their operations. This is the 9th consecutive year they have earned the award.
The Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey is one of the top 100 hotels within its brand selected from the company's more than 3,000 hotels, in recognition of overall quality excellence. In order to receive the award, the hotel had to receive a high score in the 12-Month Overall Satisfaction Index (OSI), a system designed for guests to evaluate Holiday Inn hotels and their performance, including product quality and customer service.
"The Quality Excellence Award demands a strong commitment to excellence that sets the standard for all Six Continents Hotels properties around the world," said Thomas R. The Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey, which was built in 1975, is owned by Milestone Hotel Partners, which operates the property under its management company, Milestone Hospitality International. The firm operates 14 hotels in 6 states including The Hilton, Silver Spring, MD; The Best Western Hershey, Hershey, PA; The Best Western, Utica, NY; The Holiday Inn, New Hartford, NY; The Microtel, Sulphur, LA; The Holiday Inn, Deland, FL; The Days Inn, Fort Lauderdale, FL; The Days Inn , Tampa, FL; The Days Inn, Fort Myers, FL; and a consortium of 4 Days Inn properties in Frankfort, Shepherdsville/Louisville, and Fort Wright/Cincinnati, KY.
