HOLIDAY INN HARRISBURG/HERSHEY GARDEN GRILL NAMED CHAMPION OF CHILI COOKOFF

The Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey's Garden Grill, owned by Milestone Hospitality International, whose operations offices are located in New York, NY and Boca Raton, FL, has won the championship trophy at the 24th annual Pennsylvania State Chili Cookoff. This is the second consecutive year the Garden Grill Restaurant has received this culinary award.

"It is wonderful to bring the trophy back to the team," said Kasey Kirk, executive Chef of the Garden Grill. "They really earned it for me. It's all about the team at the hotel." Their secret? "A lot of hard work just to make it happen, "Kirk said. Kirk has been perfecting his chili recipe for 8 years and was victorious over 80 other contestants.

The culinary contest, also known as Impact Cellular's Chili Bowl XXIV, was part of Harrisburg's annual Labor Day weekend festival.

The Holiday Inn Harrisburg/Hershey, which was built in 1975, is owned by Milestone Hotel Partners, which operates the property under its management company, Milestone Hospitality International.
