Mr. Mednick serves as Executive Vice President and principal assistant to the offices of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Milestone Hospitality Management, LLC. His responsibilities include development, financial underwriting, operational audits, investor relations, and special projects. Since 2002, Mr. Mednick has overseen the acquisition of 6 hotel properties in 3 states with an aggregate value in excess of $125,000,000, the sale of 7 hotel properties in the States of Florida, Kentucky, and Louisiana with an aggregate value in excess of $20,000,000, the placement and replacement of more than $200,000,000 of real estate financing, and the acquisition of more than 100 acres of vacant land in the states of Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Kentucky for future commercial development purposes.
In October 2005, Mr. Mednick helped direct the formation of Milestone Development Group, LLC, a commercial, residential and industrial development firm affiliated with the Milestone Companies. Mr. Mednick directs the capital projects of the Milestone Companies along with Parker Mount. Mr. Mednick is responsible for the development of property renovation plans, budgets, and capital improvement strategies, directing the efforts of architects, construction trades, and service suppliers. He is also responsible for the strategic planning associated with the firm’s commercial developments that are primarily focused in the eastern United States and that involve such branded operations as Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, Ruby Tuesday, and others. Since 2002, Mr. Mednick has overseen the placement of more than $60,000,000 of construction and renovation projects on behalf of Milestone Hotel Partners and Milestone Development Group, with additional capital projects of more than $30,000,000 planned for 2010.
Prior to joining MHM, Mr. Mednick served as investment banker in the Media & Telecommunications Group at Banc of America Securities LLC (New York, NY). From 1998-1999, Mr. Mednick worked at the Yale Office of Finance, Capital Management Division with responsibility over capital project reports, research and financial analysis. He received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University in 2000, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Mr. Mednick is a registered mortgage broker in the State of Florida. Mr. Mednick is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mr. Schumaker joined Milestone Hotel Management in 2002 as General Manager of the Hilton Washington DC/Silver Spring Hotel (Silver Spring, MD). Beginning in 2007, he has served as Corporate Vice President of Operations of Milestone Hotel Management. Prior to joining Milestone Hotel Management, he served as Regional Director of Hotel Support for the northeast region of Hilton Hotels Corp. From 1991-1997, he served as Director of Operations for independent owners of the Hilton Hotel (Pikesville, MD) and Turf Valley Resort & Conference Center (Ellicott City, MD). From 1985-1991, he served in corporate operations and development for Newport Hotels, Inc. Brand experience includes Hilton and Holiday Inn. He received a B.S. in Management with a concentration in Finance from St. John Fisher College in 1984.
